Mijn naam is Eelco Keizer, geboren in 1981 in een klein dorpje onder de rook van Utrecht, genaamd, Maartensdijk. Ik woon samen met mijn vrouw Stephanie en zoontje Gijs in hartje Grave. Als we niet thuis zijn dan zijn we aan het reizen, met vrienden op stap of lekker op de boot een stukje aan het zeilen.
In mijn 20+ jarige cariere als commercieel fotograaf bij Lukkien heb ik mijzelf al heel wat takken van sport eigen gemaakt. Onder andere food, interior, lifestyle, packshots en automotive.
Mijn habitat is zowel de studio als op de meest uiteenlopende locaties, beide hebben hun eigen charme. Waar ik in de studio alles tot in de puntjes kan regisseren en echt kan spelen met licht ben ik op locatie goed in het improviseren en geniet ik van alle cadeautjes die de diverse locaties te bieden hebben.
Waar ik ook erg van kan genieten is het maken van autonoom werk. Alles zelf oppakken van A tot Z maakt het tot een interessante uitdaging. Van het conceptuele voorwerk tot het zelf verzorgen van de styling, (voor)bereiden van eten, fotograferen en de nabewerking.. heerlijk!
My name is Eelco Keizer, born in 1981 in a small village under the smoke of Utrecht called Maartensdijk. I live with my wife Stephanie and little boy Gijs in the heart of Grave. When we are not at home, we are traveling, hanging out with friends or sailing on our boat.
In my 20+-year career as a commercial photographer at Lukkien, I have already acquired many branches of sport. Among other things, food, interior, lifestyle, packshots and automotive.
My habitat is both the studio and the most diverse locations, both have their own charm. Where in the studio I can organize everything to perfection and really play with light, I’m good at improvising on location and I enjoy all the presents that the various locations have to offer.
What I also enjoy very much is making autonome work. Picking everything yourself from A to Z makes it an interesting challenge. From the conceptual preparation to taking care of the styling, (pre) preparation of food, photography and post-processing … delicious!
